I have seen this on a couple of blogs (thanks k) & thought it was a fun idea. I would love to hear some of the memories you all have. And yes, I am bracing myself.
First, leave a comment on my blog about a memory that you have with me, then do this on your blog and I'll leave a memory I have with you.
Here we go!
I have two favorite memories with you. One is sitting on the hard, cold basketball floor watching the guys play B-Ball. But, you let me vent to you about family issues I was having (does my step-mom ring a bell?) that I don't really tell many people.. and the other one was just recently at a soccer game where we both realized that we both like to celebrate holidays and birthdays and making a big deal out of it for others! I think we both have a lot in common and I really appreciate those one-on-one times where I get to know you better. You are a great sister-in-law that I love so much! Thanks for being you and letting me be me!
ReplyDeleteOh I have so many. Remember when my mom told me that I couldn't have a sleepover and you still just showed up and told me that you were sleeping over anyway and I was so scared that I was going to get in trouble but really my mom told you that you could the whole time? And remember when you let me come to Lake Powell with you? And remember when you came to my house when I first moved in and asked me if I would come rollerblading with you and Rachel Horsley and Nick Layton. Yay for being friends!
ReplyDeleteoh boy, there are a lot of memories. The ones I like the most are when you and G lived here and T and I could share lots of our funny new baby stories with you - like the one where M pooped all over T. I also have really enjoyed all of our rides together to wherever. It's fun to chit chat in the car and of course, at soccer games.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to go with my first memory of you, when we went to see that movie at the Joseph Smith Memorial building. I knew that Greg really, REALLY liked you, and he'd been talking so much about you, I just hoped that you were as awesome as he was making you out to be so that we could be BFF's forever. But I could tell right away that you were the coolest and such a good match for my Greg. Anyway, I'm such a cheese ball, but I loved you from the start, and you're the raddest chick I know!
ReplyDeleteVery cute Idea.. My first memory of you is training to be Butch's assistant. You were dressed so cute in skinny jeans and boots. Your hair was in the cutest messy ponytail and I tried to do it to my hair when I got home that day -- no luck though. One of the first questions you asked me was if I had kids and when I said No, you asked when I was planning to have them. You were very easy to talk to and the greatest trainer ever! :)
