tried a big mac for the first time in my life today.
it was a promise i made to a lovely friend. she is leaving our office today & swore i would eat my first with her before she left.
it was delicious. every heart-attack inducing bite...but, i can still feel it sticking to my ribs like plaster. and afterwords our office masseuse told me she swears they put worms in the patty's "for added protein"?! most likely not true, but still made me dry heave. i think i'll wait another 21 yrs to eat my next one.
and seriously, none of you have tried red velvet cake?! i am shocked! how have you lived so long without sampling this luscious dessert?! i found a recipe on smitten kitchen & i expect all of you to stop by for a sample. seriously, crazy people.
my roommate and i had gift cards to mcdonalds while in college. so we decided to go and the item we felt we needed was the big mac. after we swore we would never eat there again. it just wasn't as good as we remembered from our adolescence.

ReplyDeleteMy little brother tried his first Big Mac the other day as well. He wasn't all that impressed. My sister craved them with one of her pregnancies. It was nauseating. She ate at least one a day for a while. Gross. Do you guys still have the same masseuse?? . . oh I can't remember her name, but she's very . . unique.

You are brave... I too have NEVER had a Big Mac and I'm still holding out. I'm pretty sure I'll never have one. As for Red Velvet cake- it's divine. Happy V-Day friend!
ReplyDeleteI also have never had one, they honestly scare me. I just think it's best if I stay away, I tend to get addicted to things that are horribly bad for me - like shakes, and the butter of the month club :)
