um, nevermind.

So, yah.

Pretty much everything I said yesterday in my post about Twilight, I take back (besides the fact that Bella is lame...she is still lame). But, the movie completely changed my mind about the two of them & their romance. In my opinion, their chemistry is very different in the movie from what I imagined in the book.

And I, like so many of you, did not think Robert Pattison was anywhere near the dreamy Edward we all imagined in our heads.

But, holy cow, ladies. Brace yourselves.

He is gorgeous in the movie. Stunning, sexy, mysterious, make-you-almost-hyperventilate & drop dead-beautiful. I am not even kidding.

I spent the majority of the movie (when I wasn't gagging about the smelly girl sitting next to me. Sorry, smelly girl) whispering, "He is so beautiful", "He is so gorgeous".

Until I had to be hushed into silence.

And the chemistry between the two of them. My...my...the chemistry.

Brace yourselves.

  1. Um--completely agree! Seriously I LOVED the movie! I want to see it 20 more times. And I hated the people who play Edward and Bella but I thought they did way good. Edward was especially amazing!

  3. I haven't seen it yet but can hardly wait! Annie and Shawna have been bugging us for a week now, they've read the books (rather quickly i should mention) and can't wait to see the movie! Me either for that matter! We'll have to drag Darrell to the theater though (kicking and screaming I'm sure!) but hopefully we can make it soon!

  4. Well that's good to know and you actually made me want to see the movie for the first time.

I have only read twilight with no desire to read on because....(shields up)...I think it was poorly written. I do. I think I would have loved it when I was 15. But I'm not.

The storyline was good, it was just poorly written. So I "liked" the book. I realize how unpopular I just became, and I'm cool with it. But I think I might actually go see the movie now. :)

  8. I liked the move a lot. I wouldn't go so far as love... Only because unlike you :)... i loved the characters in my head and the relationships in my head more than the movie. But i was entertained and interested to see a little bit of a different take on the book.

  9. i definately have a love hate relationship with the movie. Was it just me or was it a partial comedy? There were about a million little girls screaming and laughing at nearly everything the cullens did, and jacob of course too. But in the end I am just glad to see it on screen. They just have a lot to work on for the next one.

  11. Well, I saw it and all I can say is "Wow" I'm so mad it didn't show them kissing more!!! That part in the bedroom just about made me drool! Ha ha! No, really, I swear they kissed more in the book, why not in the movie? I was just on the edge of my seat every time their faces got close. And I agree, didn't think I'd like Edward 'til I saw him, and til I saw him save her life...twice and kiss and.. okay- I'll stop.

  16. thanks girl. and about the cowboy boots- the first pair were a vintage thrift store find but the second i found at urban outfitters. they often have piles of boots in the shoe section randomly. not sure if in every store, but a few here and there. i LOVE red boots and yes, they are hard to find. i'll keep my eyes open here in nyc for you and let you know if i come across anything extra special and nice.

and i agree about edward and the film, very surprised. loved it.
